ECCM Cyber Update
The ECCM Defense Healthcare Management Systems Modernization/Defense Medical Information Exchange (DHMSM/DMIX) Cyber team welcomed six new members during the past few months. The new members include Parul Mittal, Mark Price, Ransford Allotey, Gabriella De Santos, Arnold Opoku, and Justin Johnson. These new cyber professionals will work in cyber compliance, new initiatives, and cyber projects such as the DISA Continuous Monitoring and Reporting System (CMRS) and Tanium deployments for enterprise systems. New cyber team members will also fill positions as Cyber Engineers supporting DMIX and GENESIS system upgrades and engineering tasks. Furthermore, new cyber team members will continue their work as Information System Security Officers while being paired with existing ECCM ISSO’s in support of System Assessment and Accreditation (A & A) activities. New cyber staff will also work to perform risk assessments of new capabilities joining the GENESIS portfolio and work as liaisons with the Veterans Administration on system connectivity. Cyber team members will represent the cyber group on evaluating new capabilities presented during weekly Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings for DMIX and DHMSM. The addition of these cyber professionals will allow the cyber team to continue to provide support for critical government activities and to be more agile in responding to surging requirements.
